Welcome to Tattooed Dad 2.0 (beta)

So, you may have noticed something different. If not, you are blind. And other things as well.
I’ve been working on this for a while, and said the hell with it – just launch. Over the next week or so, many new things will be showing up. For a hint, check out the spiffy new menu up there.

A couple of caveats:
No iPhone/iPod Touch support yet. Tricky, not being able to use :hover…
Links are not all working yet. Content takes time to curate.
Sidebars are subject to change.

The biggest thing: If you bookmarked http://blogs.tattooeddad.com , it will cease working in a few weeks. Change your bookmark to http://www.tattooeddad.com, and all will be fine.

Notes on contacting me and privacy.

This is a blog. Blogs thrive on and exist by the grace of open commenting.
If you post a comment, it will go up. If there is privacy endangering info, I will edit it, but the post will still go up. The only posts I remove are spam posts.

If you need to contact me privately, there are prominent links above, and to the left. Use them, that’s why they are there.

I am still working out the exact wording of the Tattooed Dad privacy policy. I can however sum it up in plain english: Your information will never be shared, used or abused. Not sold, not bought, not masturbated over.

I loathe IOPs and will not allow it here.

Alrighty then.
If you are a dad, and want a blog here, click here and follow the instructions.

For the forseeable future, this will be free – that’s right, free.
At the moment, the look is not unified, as the theme I use and abuse doesn’t work right.

Your address will be dads.tattooeddad.com/yourblogname.

For now, it’s just for dads, although if enough ladies ask, I may open it to moms.
