Rantings of a twisted mind…

Or random things from the week past.
Chaotic week here, as always.

Lilah (smallest child) turned 2 on Friday. No big fanfare, yet. Party for her next Sunday as work schedules interfered. She is as precocious and as dangerous to my sanity as ever. Frickin kid has put more gray hair on my head than 38+ years on this ball of rock. She knows no fear, has insatiable curiosity, and has no bounds. I have the strange feeling that I will be bailing her out of jail at some soi-distant place in time.
Finished reading Neil Peart‘s Ghost Rider: A Healing Journey. Very touching book that had me considering, once again, my own mortality and the mark I shall leave upon this Earth. It is the story of Neil’s journey back to sanity and humanity after losing his Daughter and Common-law wife in the space of 10 months. I don’t know that I could ever survive something like that, or how I could. With any luck, I never will have to consider it.

Also, the new Nine Inch Nails album Year Zero leaked. In response, Trent Reznor and crew set up a stream of the whole disc. It kicks so much ass, it ain’t even funny. IMO, it’s the best thing out of Trent’s mind since Further Down the Spiral. Year Zero is a Concept album. It is placed about 15 years from now in an America ruled by Religious bigots and Corporate interests (sound familiar?) See the NINWIKI for the full story. Funny thing, ever since the first “leaks” back in February, Trent has stayed the hell out of The U.S. Strikes me as…paranoid? Careful? Coincidence? ( I think not.)

Violent overthrow of the government may yet be necessary. Only time will tell.

I also got the first of the Tattooeddad.com t-shirts. Two shirts arrived, one for me, and one for Psycho Mom. Sadly, the print job on hers was not so good. However, Cafepress is making good on it, and sending a replacement pronto.

I am working on variations for non dads, Mom’s and others. Some may have to wait until I can afford to open a pro shop with them, as you can only have one type of item at a time (i.e. only one black tshirt) in a basic shop. If you have any suggestions, leave’em in the comments. There are designs for Kids up and some other stuff there as well.

Also, I just want to remind everyone that you need not be tattooed, a dad or a parent at all to participate.

thanks for reading…

Boobies and other adult things.

Boobies, tits, lung hammers, breasts. Gotta love them. Clothed or bare, large or small, it’s all good.

As A Dad, and as a man, there are great things about breast-feeding, and some not so great things. You get to see them more often and they do indeed get larger – hell, they change shape and size fairly often. It’s like having a variety pack! Breastfeeding moms wear clothes that give easier access to the twin girls. Nipples (those pretty spigots…) are larger and more prominent. They taste better, too.

On Safety and freedom….Part 2.

Keeping on, I see all the resistant bactieria out there, and then see Bacitraicin sold by the gallons… Soap and water is enough to clean a scraped knee. We would just get up, and keep going. Being that I work in a grocery store, I see the uptight moms with their kids in a carrige covered up with some obnoixously colored safety thing-a-ma-bob. What, your kid is gonna die from touching a fucking shopping cart? These are the same people who buy their kids everything with corperate logos blazoned everywhere. Diznee this, Spongebob that.

I get asked all the bloody time “well, I’m just starting my son/daughter on solid foods. What should I get hrim?” What are YOU haveing? Feed them that…

I know we have a problem with fat ass kids (and adults) in this country, but the solution is not removing fat from their diets. We need fat. It’s a lubricant. No fat eating people always have issues with their joints.

Let your kids run free…
It’s the only time in their lives they’ll be able to.

(Ok, so that wasn’t too coherent, was it?)
